Our laboratory operates Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with weekend and out-of-hours shifts to ensure 24/7 service delivery. Operating 24/7, the laboratory provides essential testing in biochemistry, blood bank, haematology, and microbiology. The service also supports key areas such as Point of Care Testing, Molecular Biology, and Specimen Services. Hours will be rostered and rotating, The team works collaboratively to support both acute and community healthcare across Taranaki. The service is committed to innovation, accuracy, and maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
The successful candidate will hold a qualification that enables registration as a Medical Laboratory Technician with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand (MSCNZ), as well as:
