The Medical and Injury Centre is a high-performing, accredited Urgent Care Clinic just minutes from the city centre. With over 29,000 patient visits a year, our multidisciplinary team of urgent care physicians, GPs, nurse practitioners, nurses, paramedics, HCAs and receptionists deliver high-quality, patient‑centred care in a fast‑paced and supportive environment.

About the Role

As Medical Director, you’ll lead, mentor, and support the team while continuing to practice clinically. You will join a supportive, forward‑thinking leadership team committed to shaping the future of our urgent care service together. This is a hands‑on leadership role with real influence on urgent care is delivered in Nelson.

You’ll bring:

• Fellowship with RNZCUC or you are on the Urgent Care pathway
• Leadership and team‑building skills
• Experience in acute care, X‑ray, ECG interpretation, and community IV therapy
• Current APC and CORE Advanced
