Job summary

Fieldair Holdings Ltd invites applications for a Fieldair Engineering role based at the Wellington Airport workshop. You will service and maintain Ground Support Equipment to ensure reliable operations for our aviation customers.

The position is full-time, minimum 40 hours per week, with on-site parking and access to technical training and advancement opportunities. We are seeking a recognisable motor mechanic qualification (NZQA level 4 or equivalent), welding/fabrication skills, and at least

Qualifications

• Recognisable Trade qualification as motor mechanic (NZQA level 4 or equivalent).
• Welding or fabrication skills.
• At least 2 years’ experience & ability to work unsupervised.
• Honest, self-motivated, reliable with can-do attitude.
• Class 1 or 2 clean licence (class 2 preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service Ground Support Equipment to high standards.
• Work on-site at the Fieldair workshop at Wellington Airport.
• Collaborate with the team to meet customer expectations.
• Gain security clearance to work airside.

About the Role

Fieldair Engineering supports several aircraft operators at Wellington Airport ensuring that all their Ground Support Equipment is well maintained throughout the year.

You will be based at the Fieldair workshop at the Wellington Airport and joining a team that strives to exceed our customers’ expectations.

Skills & Experience Required

• Recognisable Trade qualification as motor mechanic – (ideally NZQA level 4, trade certificate or diploma)

• Class 1 & 2 clean licence (class 2 not essential but preferred)
• Be able to gain security clearance to work airside.
