Job summary

Fieldair Holdings Ltd. at Auckland Airport maintains Ground Support Equipment for several aircraft operators and ensures equipment reliability throughout the year. You will be based at the Fieldair workshop and join a team dedicated to meeting customer expectations.

The role offers a minimum 40-hour week, on-site parking, technical training, and opportunities for advancement for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as motor mechanic (NZQA level 4, trade cert or diploma).
• Some welding or fabrication skills.
• At least 2 years’ experience & able to work unsupervised.

About the Role

Fieldair Engineering supports several aircraft operators at Auckland Airport ensuring that all their Ground Support Equipment is well maintained throughout the year.

You will be based at the Fieldair workshop at the Auckland Airport and joining a team that strives to exceed our customers’ expectations.

Skills & Experience Required

• Recognisable Trade qualification as motor mechanic – (ideally NZQA level 4, trade certificate or diploma)
• Some welding or fabrication skills
• At least 2 years’ experience & able to work unsupervised
• Be honest, self-motivated, reliable and possess a can-do attitude.
• Class 1 & 2 clean licence (class 2 not essential but preferred)
• Be able to gain security clearance to work airside.
