Fieldair Engineering Ltd in Palmerston North, New Zealand, is seeking an Avionic B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer on a full‑time, permanent basis. You will join a dedicated team to ensure all avionic work, upgrades and maintenance meet CAA NZ regulations and customer expectations.

Travel to other Fieldair facilities and customer locations will be required. NZ residency and a valid passport are essential, along with a driving licence; Helicopter experience is advantageous.

Qualificações

• CAA NZ B2 Licence is required or in progress; company provides training to gain first/additional type ratings.
• Experience with light aircraft and/or helicopters is essential.
• Be eligible to live and work in New Zealand.

Responsabilidades

• Perform Avionic B2 licensed aircraft engineering tasks and related maintenance.
• Complete line and scheduled maintenance in line with CAA NZ regulations.
• Travel to other Fieldair facilities and customer locations as required.
• Maintain safe and regulatory standards throughout all tasks.

About the Role

Fieldair Engineering Ltd are looking to recruit an Avionic B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer on a full time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Avionic Manager the Licensed Engineer will work with a dedicated team to ensure all aircraft Avionic Engineering, Avionic upgrades, line and scheduled maintenance are provided to meet or exceed customer expectations and CAA regulations.

What else do I need to know?

This role is based at the Fieldair main facility in Palmerston North, New Zealand. But the successful applicant will be expected to travel at times to other Fieldair facilities and customer locations to carry out a range of upgrades and activities. Experience with a variety of light aircraft is essential, additional Helicopter experience would be advantageous.

What do I need to do the role?

• CAA NZ B2 Licence. Company assistance and training provided to gain first or additional type ratings.
• Experience with light aircraft and/or Helicopters.
• Be eligible to live and work in New Zealand.
• A full driving licence is required.
• A current valid passport is required.
