Job summary

Stellar Recruitment Pty is offering a hands-on mechanic role in Queenstown with a 4-on, 3-off roster and 10-hour shifts. You will diagnose, service, maintain and repair a diverse fleet, ensuring safety and reliability while delivering high workmanship standards.

The position includes an hourly rate of $35.22 with a $3.75 per hour allowance, RV hire benefits, tool allowance and a modern workshop, plus a schedule that supports work-life balance in one of New Zealand’s premier lifestyle

Qualifications

• NZQA Level 4 Mechanical Qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience as a mechanic.
• Committed to quality workmanship, safety and excellent customer service.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.

Responsibilities

• Complete diagnostics, servicing, maintenance and repairs across a diverse fleet.
• Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle safety, reliability and performance.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and workshop cleanliness.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to minimise downtime and keep vehicles road-ready.
