Job summary

University of Canterbury is seeking an MBA Coordinator to join Te Kura Umanga. This permanent on-site role supports MBA recruitment, admission and academic administration, ensuring a seamless student journey within a busy, people-focused team.

You will collaborate with the MBA Director, academic staff and services across the University, coordinating events, block weekends and activities that bring the MBA experience to life for prospective and current students.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years’ experience in an administrative support role, preferably within a large organisation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer and student focus.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and high-volume administrative activity.

Responsibilities

• Bring together people, programmes and opportunities across UC’s MBA, providing trusted advice to prospective and current students.
• Coordinate experiences from industry engagement events to block weekends and programme activities.
• Build strong relationships across the Business School, wider University, industry and the MBA community.
