Job summary

Walter & Wild is seeking a Master Data Administrator to join our Māngere-based Supply Chain team. You will manage Item Masters, BOMs and planning data to support manufacturing, procurement, warehouse and finance operations.

The role emphasizes accuracy, data governance and collaboration across teams as part of our ERP transformation journey. Strong Excel and Dynamics AX/D365 experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years in Master Data or data-focused role.
  • Strong Excel capability with data accuracy.
  • Experience with Item Masters, BOMs and Production Routes preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain Item Master records within Microsoft AX / D365.
  • Maintain planning, inventory and manufacturing data accuracy.
  • Manage BOMs, including creation, updates and version control.
  • Support data governance, quality reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with process mapping and workflow development as part of our ERP transformation.
  • Investigate and resolve master data issues to ensure business continuity.

The Role

We’re looking for a Master Data Administrator to join our Supply Chain team based in Māngere.

This is a critical role responsible for maintaining the master data that keeps our business running. From Item Masters and Bills of Materials (BOMs) through to routes and planning data, you’ll ensure the accuracy and integrity of the information that supports Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehouse and Finance.

  • Create and maintain Item Master records within Microsoft AX / D365
  • Maintain planning, inventory and manufacturing data accuracy
  • Manage BOMs, including creation, updates and version control
  • Support data governance, quality reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist with process mapping and workflow development as part of our ERP transformation
  • Investigate and resolve master data issues to ensure business continuity
About You

You're highly organised, analytical and thrive on accuracy. You enjoy working with systems and data, have strong attention to detail, and understand the importance of high‑quality master data in a manufacturing environment.

You’ll bring
  • 2-3 years' experience in Master Data, Supply Chain Administration or a data focussed role
  • Strong Microsoft Excel capability
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX, D365 or a similar system
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage large volumes of data accurately and systematically
  • Previous experience within FMCG, manufacturing, food manufacturing or supply chain environment (ideal)
  • Experience creating and maintaining Item Masters, BOMs and Production Routes (ideal)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multiple teams
