Job summary

2degrees is seeking a Senior MarTech Engineer to build and optimise data foundations, integrations and APIs powering personalised customer experiences. You will work across Braze, Snowflake and AI-enabled decisioning platforms to ensure customer data is trusted, connected and ready to drive engagement at scale.

Based in Auckland, you will partner with Marketing Automation, Data and Technology teams to solve complex challenges, improve data quality and enable advanced segmentation and journeys

Qualifications

• Experience in Martech Engineering, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering or a similar technical role.
• Strong experience working with customer data, APIs, integrations and modern data platforms.
• Hands-on with SQL and large-scale customer datasets.
• Experience with Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, or similar customer engagement technologies.
• Knowledge of Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms.
• Experience with Python or other languages used for automation, integration and data processing.

Responsibilities

Senior MarTech Engineer

As our Senior MarTech Engineer, you'll build and optimise the data foundations, integrations and APIs that power customer engagement across 2degrees. Working across Braze, Snowflake and AI-enabled decisioning platforms, you'll help ensure customer data is trusted, connected and ready to drive personalised experiences at scale.

Sitting at the intersection of Martech, Data Engineering and AI, you'll partner with Marketing Automation, Data and Technology teams to solve complex challenges, improve data quality and enable everything from sophisticated segmentation and customer journeys through to intelligent decisioning and automation.

• Experience in Martech Engineering, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering or a similar technical role.


• Strong experience working with customer data, APIs, integrations and modern data platforms.


• Hands-on capability with SQL and large-scale customer datasets.


• Experience with platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, or similar customer engagement technologies.


• Knowledge of Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms.


• Experience with Python or other languages used for automation, integration and data processing.


• Strong understanding of customer identity, data modelling and data quality practices.


• The ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple systems and platforms.


• Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.


• Curiosity, collaboration and a passion for using technology to solve real customer problems.


• Interest in AI, intelligent automation and emerging technologies, with the ability to apply them in practical ways.
