Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a Marquee Rigger for an immediate start. This seasonal role runs through the summer season, finishing in April, with responsibilities including erecting and dismantling marquees, loading and unloading equipment, and adhering to build plans and safety procedures.

The ideal candidate is physically fit, reliable, able to work at heights, and comfortable with flexible hours, including weekends. Prior rigging or event setup helps, and a full NZ Class 1 license is required.

Qualifications

• Punctual, team-oriented with a can-do attitude.
• Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Able to work flexible hours, including early starts and weekends.
• Full NZ Class 1 driving license is a must.

We are looking for someone for an immediate start.
At this time this is a seasonal role with a finish at the end of our summer season in April.

As a Marquee Rigger, you'll play a key role in building temporary structures for weddings, festivals, corporate events, and more. You'll be responsible for:

• Erecting and dismantling marquees and related structures
• Loading/unloading equipment safely and efficiently
• Following build plans and health & safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual labor
• Punctuality and Team player with a can-do attitude
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
• Able to work flexible hours, including early starts and weekends
• Previous rigging or event setup experience is a bonus, but full training is provided
• Full NZ class 1 license is a must.
