Job summary

Jora New Zealand is recruiting casual labour staff to support events in Christchurch. You will install, set up and dismantle marquees and grandstands, install temporary fences and flooring, and assist with customer service by scanning attendee tickets. Shifts are available every day of the week, with start times and locations varying.

A reliable car is essential for reaching sites. You must be comfortable with heavy lifting and pass a pre‑employment drug test and a criminal history check by the

• Installing, setting up and dismantling marquees and grandstands
• Installing temporary fences and flooring
• Customer service - scanning attendee tickets upon entry to events
• Litter picking and keeping the event site clean
• General labouring as required

• Physical labouring& heavy lifting
• Litter picking (clear waste from ground) and keeping the event site clean
• General labouring as required

We have shifts available each day of the week; Monday to Sunday. Start times and locations vary and therefore all availability will be considered.

Some of the locations are not accessible by public transport, so having your own reliable car is an absolute must!

Successful applicants must:
