Job summary

The Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic marketing professional to oversee and provide input to our Marketing and Communications function across a variety of areas. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to guide and shape an iconic New Zealand skincare brand.

Working with a close knit team, you will carry out a wide range of marketing activities including product launches, corporate communications, and marketing projects from development to implementation.

• You will provide communications support for the brand, including consumer and trade communications, blog writing, PR releases, and regular promotional newsletters, ensuring all marketing and communications activity is proactively planned, delivered, and monitored.
• You will strategically manage social media platforms and develop campaigns in conjunction with quarterly sales and marketing focuses.
• You will oversee graphic designers in the creation of high quality brand collateral and content for a global audience
• You will oversee product packaging updates including briefing graphic designers on artwork changes, proofreading and liaising with packaging suppliers to ensure the highest standard is met.
• You will guide new product development projects from start to finish, including market research, packaging design and product launches, in conjunction with the R&D Manager and Production Manager.
• You will oversee website functionality and promotion implementation, page content and product descriptions, website imagery and ongoing improvements.

The candidate we are looking for will have:

• -previous marketing experience
• -a qualification in marketing or a proven history
• - strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write clear, creative and engaging content
• - familiarity with social media platforms
• - understanding of SEO, Google ads manager and Google analytics preferable
• - Ability to think creatively and identify opportunities with a keen eye for detail
• - sound knowledge in Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Social media
• - a ‘multi-task’ attitude toward supporting others and participating in a busy team environment
• - leadership abilities to mentor and support the marketing team
• - effective organisational, time management and problem solving skills
