Job summary

Newmarket Business Association is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join a fast-paced team. The role focuses on producing NEWMARKET. magazine, maintaining member and consumer websites, managing the eDM programme and creating engaging content across digital channels to keep the Newmarket audience informed and connected to the brand.

You will thrive in a busy, creative environment, with strong organisational skills and a consumer-centric approach, supporting campaigns, events and shoots as required.

Qualifications

• Experience creating content for magazines, websites or campaigns.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong eye for design and brand-consistent visuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist production of NEWMARKET. magazine across stages of publishing.
• Build and schedule eDMs to members and consumers.
• Update member and consumer websites and respond to membership requests.
• Create consumer-focused digital content for the Newmarket site and social channels
• Support member or consumer events and assist with brand campaigns
• Provide practical marketing support for shoots and other activities

Due to team expansion, we are looking for a highly organised and switched on Marketing Assistant to join us in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

This role plays a key part in producing NEWMARKET. magazine, maintaining the member website, consumer website and eDM programme, and contributing engaging content across digital channels - helping ensure members, consumers and the wider Newmarket audience are kept informed, engaged and connected to the brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the production of NEWMARKET. magazine, supporting the wider team through each stage of the publishing process.
• Build and schedule eDMs
• Update the member website and support with membership requests and comms
• Contribute to consumer focused digital content for www.newmarket.co.nz and share content across social channels
• Support with member or consumer events where required
• Provide broader support for brand campaigns, creative shoots, hospitality shoots, streetstyle shoots and other marketing activity as required.
