Job summary
Suntory Oceania in Wiri, NZ, is seeking motivated Operators to safely run packaging equipment across multiple stations. You will own safety, quality, standard work and performance, stopping the line when needed and contributing to continuous improvement to meet production targets.
The role involves shift work, including overnights. Ideal candidates have trades experience, familiarity with automation, a safety-first mindset, and a willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic manufacturing
Qualifications
- Trades experience in manufacturing environment.
- Automation experience would be highly regarded or a desire to learn.
- Safety-first attitude and reporting hazards/incidents.
Responsibilities
- Utilise Beverage processes or high-speed packaging equipment to meet targets.
- Perform daily process area cleaning to maintain GMP/HACCP standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, efficiency, environment and autonomous maintenance.
- Conduct autonomous and corrective maintenance to improve equipment lifespan.
- Troubleshooting and structured problem solving.
- Safety-first: report any incidents and hazards.
