Manager/Senior Manager– Business Advisory

Our client is one of the fastest‑growing CA firms in Auckland and nationally. As the firm continues its expansion, we are seeking a high‑calibre Business Advisory Manager or Senior Manager (with Associate Director also considered) to join their North Shore office.

This role offers an outstanding blend of technical depth, hands‑on client advisory, and people leadership, with real scope to influence the direction of this modern, growing practice.

About you

You are a chartered accountant (CAANZ) with strong technical grounding and a commercial way of thinking. You’re comfortable guiding clients, supporting and managing a team and the workflow, and staying close to the detail when it counts.

You will thrive here if you want to shape outcomes for clients, for the team around you, and for the direction of the firm as it evolves.

You are technically well-rounded with solid experience in all aspects of client accounting, tax compliance and business advisory (important!)

What we are looking for in this role

• At least 4-5+ years’ experience in a New Zealand CA environment
• Solid capability across accounting, tax, and advisory work
• Full CA (CAANZ) or CPA (Australia) qualifications
• A track record of working directly with clients and being relied on for sound guidance
• The drive and ability to mentor others and contribute to a high‑performing team
• Strong judgement, analytical thinking, and a practical approach to problem‑solving
• Confidence to offer ideas and help refine how the firm operates and delivers value
• Good potential and drive to become a Partner in 3-5 years (depending on seniority and experience)
