Deloitte New Zealand is seeking a senior economist to drive high-impact strategy engagements across public and private sectors in Auckland. You will leverage economic modelling, data analysis and AI-enabled analytics to inform growth, investment and policy decisions.
You will be embedded in a collaborative team, mentoring junior consultants and working across teams in New Zealand and Australia. This role combines technical leadership with client-facing advisory in a dynamic environment.
You will work on high-profile strategy engagements across public and private sectors, helping clients make better choices about growth, investment, policy, regulation and transformation. Projects span areas such as infrastructure, competition, regulation, workforce, climate and public policy, with a strong emphasis on economic frameworks, quantitative modelling, and evidence-based insight.
You will be embedded in a highly collaborative team, working closely with specialists locally and globally . A key part of the role is being part of Deloitte Access Economics, locally and across Australia.
