Job summary

Tourism Holdings Limited (thl) is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our Queenstown Rentals team on a fixed-term, full-time basis. Inspect and repair RVs to meet high standards, conduct pre-hire checks, and keep vehicles spotless and ready for adventure.

We value reliable team players with a restricted license who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and able to work a rotating 10-hour schedule that may include weekends and late shifts from 12:00 to 22:30.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar trade is valued, but not essential.
• A restricted driver’s license (minimum requirement).
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and adaptability.
• Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays, to work a rotating roster for 10 hours per day possibly consisting of weekends and late shifts 12pm-10:30pm.
• A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair RVs to meet high standards and ensure guests’ safety and comfort.
• Carry out pre-hire checks, interior and basic mechanical repairs, and ensure vehicles are clean and ready for adventure.
• Support with stocktakes, vehicle deliveries, and guest check-in/check-out.

Are you passionate about automotive mechanics and eager to work in a dynamic environment? We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician's (RV Technician’s) to join our Queenstown Rentals team in New Zealand on a fixed term, full time basis.

What You’ll Do:

• Inspect and repair RVs to ensure they meet ’s high standards—keeping our rental guests safe and comfortable.
• Carry out pre-hire checks, interior and basic mechanical repairs, and ensure all vehicles are spotless and ready for adventure.
• Support the team with stocktakes, vehicle deliveries, and customer check-in/check-out.
• Assist with on-road issues and data entry, and actively participate in our Health and Safety system.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and help us exceed operational goals.
