Job summary

Silver Fern Farms Waitōtara seeks a Maintenance Planner/Engineering Store person to develop and maintain a planned maintenance system with the Engineering Manager, reducing processing equipment failures and supporting engineering projects.

The role also oversees the engineering store, including purchasing and inventory control of all inwards materials, with emphasis on CMMS (MEX), AutoCAD, MS Projects and strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• CMMS (MEX) project management and maintenance planning experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Access, AutoCAD, MS Projects.
• Understanding of product specs, food safety and hygiene compliance.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a planned maintenance system in collaboration with Engineering Manager.
• Aim to reduce processing equipment failures and support engineering projects.
• Oversee running of the engineering store and manage purchasing.
• Inventory control of all inwards materials and supplier liaison.
