Job summary

Silver Fern Farms Waitōtara is seeking a Maintenance Planner / Engineering Stores professional to develop and maintain a planned maintenance system in collaboration with the Engineering Manager. You will aim to reduce equipment failures and support project administration while supervising the engineering store’s day-to-day operations and purchasing functions.

The role requires strong CMMS and MS Projects proficiency, plus hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Excel, Word and Access.

Qualifications

Broad-based experience and sound knowledge of engineering practices and policies with a particular emphasis on project management and CMMS (MEX).
Good attention to detail and tech savvy, specifically with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, AutoCAD, CMMS and MS Projects.
Sound understanding of product specifications, customer requirements, food safety and hygiene compliance.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a planned maintenance system in conjunction with Engineering Manager.
Aim to reduce processing equipment failures and assist in the administration of engineering projects and overseeing running of the engineering store at Silver Fern Farms Waitōtara.
Overseeing engineering store operations, including purchasing and inventory control of inwards materials, while ensuring compliance with legislative and company policies.
