You will support the engineering team by organizing stock, planning maintenance tasks, handling procurement requests, and ensuring a clean, compliant storeroom environment in Canterbury, New Zealand. The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail and experience with inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in storeroom/inventory or warehouse management.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical parts.
• Proficient with inventory software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, record, and store engineering supplies, tools, and spare parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
• Conduct stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Issue materials to maintenance personnel and track checkouts.
• Coordinate with departments to understand material needs.
• Keep storeroom organized, safe, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Create and track POs and verify deliveries.
