Job summary

Oceania Group’s Atawhai Village in Napier is seeking a full-time Maintenance Person to join our dedicated team. You will undertake maintenance across the site as a jack/jill of all trades, enjoying a varied role where no two days are the same, and you will liaise with external contractors, staff and residents.

We value reliability, health and safety, and strong organisational skills, and you will engage with residents and visitors in a friendly, approachable manner while ensuring tasks are

Qualifications

• Previous trade experience.
• Knowledge of the Building Code and compliance requirements.
• Understanding of Health and Safety.
• Reliability and self-motivation.
• The ability to think outside the box.
• Approachable, friendly nature, interacting with residents, visitors, staff and contractors.
• Great organisation and time management skills.
• Good level of physical fitness.
• A clean NZ driver’s licence.
• Eligibility to work in NZ.
