Job summary

Oceania Group’s Duart village in Havelock North is seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant to join their dedicated team. You will assist with meal preparation and support the healthcare team in serving residents, delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards.

This role offers part-time hours with rostered shifts. Oceania is dedicated to reimagining retirement and aged care living in New Zealand, caring for residents across multiple villages and communities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Passion for preparing food that looks great and tastes amazing.
  • Experience delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Flexibility to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Team-first attitude with great communication skills.
  • Strong organisation skills with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to follow set cleaning procedures.
  • Ability to work on a rostered shift basis.
  • Right to work in New Zealand.
