Job summary

Kāhui Tū Kaha is seeking a motivated person to support the Maintenance Manager with day-to-day maintenance of our residential homes around Auckland. You will handle minor repairs and coordinate other repairs with tradespeople, while engaging professionally with the management team, landlords, clients and staff.

The role requires hands-on experience in trades or building, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to health and safety practices.

He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role

You will be responsible for supporting the Maintenance Manager with completing day-to-day maintenance of a number of our residential homes around Auckland. You will be able to complete minor repairs and general maintenance work, and will be able to co-ordinate other repairs with relevant tradespeople. You can demonstrate that you are able to engage professionally with the management team, landlords, clients and other staff.

What you will need to have:

• Working background in trades or building Hands-on experience in general repairs and maintenance

• Good communication and problem-solving skills
