Job summary

AWF New Zealand is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Foreman to lead small maintenance crews in Wellington, delivering civil and road maintenance, vegetation management, and other infrastructure works. The role suits an experienced foreman or an emerging leader ready to take the next step in their career.

You will oversee daily programmes, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with supervisors and clients to deliver high-standard maintenance services region-wide.

Qualifications

• Foreman/Leading Hand or Supervisory experience preferred
• Experience in civil
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Able to plan, organise and coordinate work effectively
• Commitment to Health & Safety best practice
• Full NZ Driver Licence (Class 2 + WTR preferred)
• Positive attitude and willingness to lead from the front

• Civil maintenance
• Road maintenance
• Vegetation and berm maintenance
• Infrastructure maintenance
• Crew leadership and coordination
• General civil construction works

What You'll Be Doing

What You Need

• Full NZ Driver Licence (Class 2 + WTR preffered)
• A positive attitude and willingness to lead from the front
