Coca-Cola European Partners NZ is seeking an Apprentice Maintenance Engineer to support our high-speed packaging line, learning from experienced mechanical engineers and production teams.
You will undertake maintenance tasks to protect assets, help processes run smoothly, and pass regulatory exams as you grow your technical knowledge. This is a fixed-term 4-year role, with a comprehensive development program and a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement.

You will be trained by experienced mechanical engineers and working alongside the Production team. You will be responsible for protecting Coca-Cola’s assets by completing maintenance tasks to a high spacttandard which ensures the plant runs efficiently. You will be encouraged to maintain a working knowledge of machinery, equipment and grow your technical knowledge so that you will pass all regulatory exams, you will be encouraged to focus on continuous improvement of plant processes and assisting in the improvement of product quality.
*This is a fixed-term role for 4 years*
Firstly, you'll need to have NCEA Level 2 & 3. Ideally, you'll have post-secondary school tertiary qualification or pre-trade training, but this isn't a must! You'll have mechanical aptitude, as well as strong process knowledge - and on top of this, you'll be constantly working to contribute to the success of the wider team.
