Job summary

Coca-Cola New Zealand is seeking an Apprentice Maintenance Engineer to join our Auckland production team. You will be trained by experienced mechanical engineers and work alongside production staff to keep our high-speed packaging lines running smoothly. This is a fixed-term role for 4 years.

Candidates should have NCEA Level 2 & 3; post-secondary qualifications are preferred but not required. You will develop hands-on skills, complete regulatory exams and contribute to continuous

Your Impact

You will be trained by experienced mechanical engineers and working alongside the Production team. You will be responsible for protecting Coca-Cola’s assets by completing maintenance tasks to a high spacttandard which ensures the plant runs efficiently. You will be encouraged to maintain a working knowledge of machinery, equipment and grow your technical knowledge so that you will pass all regulatory exams, you will be encouraged to focus on continuous improvement of plant processes and assisting in the improvement of product quality.

*This is a fixed-term role for 4 years*

About you

Firstly, you'll need to have NCEA Level 2 & 3. Ideally, you'll have a post-secondary school tertiary qualification or pre-trade training, but this isn't a must! You'll have mechanical aptitude, as well as strong process knowledge - and on top of this, you'll be constantly working to contribute to the success of the wider team.

Stay motivated – Follow up on what you learn and put it into practice.

Stay on track – Complete and sign off all competencies in a timely manner.
