Job summary

Craggy Range, a family-owned winery in New Zealand, invites applications for an experienced Machinery Operator to join our Martinborough Vineyard team. This hands-on role focuses on vineyard machinery operations and collaborating with the team to implement the weekly work program.

You will also maintain machinery, assist in coordinating maintenance to ensure our fleet operates safely and efficiently, and support a culture of high standards across our vineyards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating vineyard machinery and equipment
• NZ driver's license required
• Organisational skills; able to work independently or in a team
• Interest in organics and organic conversion is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Perform vineyard machinery operations and support weekly work programs
• Maintain and repair vineyard equipment and machinery
• Coordinate maintenance activities to keep fleet safe and efficient

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experiencedMachinery Operator to join our Martinborough Vineyard team.

This hands-on role is responsible for performing vineyardmachinery operations working closely with the team to implement and conductweekly work program. The successful candidate will also play a key role inmaintaining vineyard machinery and equipment, and assisting in coordinatingmaintenance activities to ensure our fleet operates safely and efficiently.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A passion for theviticulture or horticulture industry
• A full New Zealanddriver's license
• Experience repairing andmaintaining plant and equipment
• Strong organisationalskills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant qualifications i.e. Growsafe, ApprovedHandlers, HT and an interest in organics and organic conversion would bean advantage.
