Job summary

Stonyridge Vineyard in Central Otago is seeking an experienced tractor driver and machinery operator to support daily vineyard operations. You will apply proven machinery handling skills with a strong safety focus across canopy management, mowing, spraying, trimming and harvest tasks.

Applicants should have hands-on vineyard experience, current driver's license and preferably Grow-safe certification, plus good written and spoken communication and a solid understanding of NZ occupational health

Qualifications

• Proven machinery and tractor handling skills with safety focus.
• Experience as machine operator in wine production/viticulture.
• Hands-on vineyard experience: canopy management, mowing, spraying, trimming, harvest, trellis work.
• Current driver's license; Grow-safe certification preferred.
• Good written and spoken communication.
• Solid understanding of NZ health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors and vineyard machinery safely.
• Assist with daily vineyard tasks across cultivation, pruning, harvest.
• Support canopy management, mowing, spraying, trimming.
• Maintain safety and compliance with NZ OHS.
