Job summary

Craggy Range in Martinborough, NZ, is seeking a Seasonal Vineyard Worker to join our motivated team from November to February 2026, with possible extension.

This hands-on role covers vine works such as plant training, pruning, thinning, picking, mowing, spraying, and maintenance of equipment, with training provided.

The ideal candidate has a passion for viticulture, at least one season of tractor experience, a full driver's license, good attention to detail, and a reliable, proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out vine works such as plant training, shoot thinning, leaf plucking, pruning, tucking, thinning, picking, planting and tractor operations.
• Completing mowing, mulching, trimming, and applying herbicide and fungicide sprays as required.
• Supporting the upkeep of company buildings, tools, machinery, and vehicles, ensuring they remain in excellent condition and are always secure.

About the role

This role covers a broad range of hands-on vineyardtasks, ensuring our vineyards are maintained to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out vine worksuch as plant training, shoot thinning, leaf plucking, pruning, tucking,thinning, picking, planting and tractor operations
• Completing mowing,mulching, trimming, and applying both herbicide and fungicide sprays asrequired.
• Supporting the upkeep ofcompany buildings, tools, machinery, and vehicles, ensuring they remain inexcellent condition and are always secure.
