Job summary

NZ Sugar in Chelsea, New Zealand, is seeking a motivated, hands-on team member to join our packaging lines on a full-time, permanent basis. You’ll operate packaging filling machines handling 500g to 25kg packs, ensuring product quality, presentation and reliable operation.

Operating packaging filling machines which pack a wide range of pack sizes (500g – 25kg), you’ll directly contribute to the success of our retail and industrial businesses through ensuring product quality, presentability and machine reliability are held to the highest standards.

• Has a motivated, curious, and proactive mindset
• Is dependable and punctual
• Enjoys hands-on work and is comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks (training and support will be provided to ensure safety and success)
• Has mechanical ability and/or understanding
• Values teamwork and fosters collaboration
• Approaches challenges with logical thinking and effective problem-solving
• Prioritizes safety and quality in their work
• Is eligible to work in New Zealand immediately

Physical fitness is beneficial for this role, including the ability to handle items up to 25kg.
