Job summary

Wilmar Sugar NZ Sugar Chelsea site is hiring a positive, team-oriented individual for a full-time permanent role in packaging operations. The role may be single shift, 2-shift rotating, or 3-shift rotating.

You will operate packaging filling machines handling 500g to 25kg packs, contribute to quality, presentability, and machine reliability, with safety and training provided. We welcome diverse experiences and are committed to training growth, offering competitive hourly rates and onsite

Operating packaging filling machines which pack a wide range of pack sizes (500g - 25kg), you'll directly contribute to the success of our retail and industrial businesses through ensuring product quality, presentability and machine reliability are held to the highest standards.

• is dependable and punctual
• enjoys hands-on work and is comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks (training and support will be provided to ensure safety and success)
• has mechanical ability and/or understanding
• values teamwork and fosters collaboration
• approaches challenges with logical thinking and effective problem-solving
• prioritises safety and quality in their work
• is eligible to work in New Zealand immediately.

Physical fitness is beneficial for this role, including the ability to handle items up to 25kg.

What you'll bring
