Job summary

New Zealand Labour Hire is recruiting for a Machine Operator Assistant for our Hastings-based client in the cardboard packaging sector. The role is afternoons, Monday to Friday, 3.20pm to 11.20pm, on-site in a production environment.

You will bring proven factory experience, mechanical aptitude, and a strong team ethic. Candidates must be physically fit, able to handle manual tasks, pass a pre-employment drug test, and have a clean criminal background.

Our client is one of New Zealand’s leaders in the manufacturing of cardboard packaging solutions and we are on the lookout for Machine Operator Assistants for their Hastings based factory.

The role:

We are looking for Machine Operator Assistants for our Hastings based client, for these roles you will have proven factory experience, with good mechanical aptitude. A certain level of fitness is required as you will be on your feet for long periods at a time, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to work within a team environment.

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday – 3.20pm to 11:20pm
