Job summary

Golden Goose in Auckland currently seeks a dedicated Store Manager to lead our NZ branch, reporting to the Head of Retail. The role focuses on driving commercial performance, brand presentation, and customer experience in a luxury retail environment.

The successful candidate will have 3–4 years of luxury retail sales experience with supervisory exposure, plus the flexibility to work weekends and holidays. This is a full-time, on-site position with 38+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• At least 3–4 years in luxury retail sales with global brands.
• 2+ years in supervisory/management roles.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations including hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Manage profitability, budgets, labour costs, and inventory control.
• Maintain stock levels, product range, and visual merchandising.
• Develop pricing strategies and run promotional campaigns to drive sales.
• Ensure compliance with employment and health & safety regulations.
• Negotiate supplier terms to optimise costs.
• Prepare banking, turnover reports, and annual budgets.
