Job summary

The Hotel Britomart in Auckland is seeking an Event Sales Coordinator to support our MICE and events business from enquiry through invoicing. You’ll prepare proposals, contracts, BEOs, floor plans and documentation while keeping clients informed, cared for and confident at every stage.

Work closely with Sales, F&B, kitchen, reservations and operations to ensure events reflect our thoughtful service and attention to detail. NZ working rights required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ experience in events or a related client-facing role.
• Warm, polished and professional communication style required.
• Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and details simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and manage event enquiries with care and timely follow-up.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, BEOs, menus and floor plans.
• Support site inspections and client meetings to showcase spaces and service.
• Coordinate event details with Food & Beverage, operations and suppliers.
• Maintain client and event information in hotel systems and Salesforce.
• Assist invoicing, pre-payment, reconciliation and post-event follow up.
