Job summary

Skyline is seeking a friendly Luge Operator in Rotorua. In this full-time outdoor role you will warmly welcome guests, provide clear instructions for safe luge rides, and assist with the safe operation of chairlifts.

You should be comfortable on your feet and enjoy engaging with people. The perfect candidate will bring a positive attitude, strong weekend availability, and a willingness to work rostered shifts across the week including holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have patience, enthusiasm and a conscientious attitude with a focus on health and safety.
• A genuine passion for tourism and delivering excellent guest service.
• Ability to follow strict safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Welcome luge riders warmly and provide clear safety instructions.
• Support the safe operation of chairlifts and assist guests as needed.
• Work rostered shifts across the week, including weekends and holidays.
• Engage with guests to create a fun and memorable experience.

Job Description

This is a hands-on, active role, working outdoors and on your feet throughout the day, making it ideal for a flexible team player who enjoys a physical job and engaging with people. You’ll be required to work rostered shifts across the week, including weekends, school holidays, and public holidays.

This is a full-time position best suited to applicants who have strong weekend availability and can also work a range of weekday shifts.
