Placements24 is seeking a proactive Logistics Planner to support operations in and around Queenstown. This hybrid role focuses on optimizing transportation routes, managing inventory, and coordinating with carriers and clients to deliver timely, cost-effective solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong TMS experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to develop efficient logistics plans within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Logistics Planner or in a related planning role.
• Strong understanding of TMS and logistics software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and forecasting techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize transportation routes for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing carrying costs.
• Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to schedule deliveries and pickups.
• Analyze logistics data to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve overall supply chain performance.
