Placements24 is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our Queenstown-based operations. The role combines on-site coordination with strategic planning and reporting to optimize the distribution network in the Eastern Cape region.

You will manage shipments, inventory, and carrier relationships to ensure timely product availability for a diverse customer base. The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree and 3+ years in logistics, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a similar role.
• Solid understanding of transportation management, inventory control, and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics operations, including scheduling and tracking shipments, and managing inventory levels.
• Liaise with transportation providers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
• Process shipping documentation, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize stock management.
• Resolve logistical issues and disruptions promptly and effectively.
• Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, including delivery times, costs, and inventory accuracy.
