Job summary

Arthrex is seeking a Loan Kit Technician NZ in Auckland to review and manage surgical loaner instrument and implant sets. You will track loaner sets, update inventories, and ensure proper ERP workflow. Experience with SAP and RF scanners is beneficial; training is provided.

Open to CSSD technicians, warehouse professionals and biomedical graduates seeking entry to the medical device industry. Role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP and RF Scanners would be very beneficial; training can be provided.
• Biomedical graduates or CSSD/warehouse backgrounds encouraged to apply.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document accurately under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain surgical loaner instrument and implant sets.
• Track loaner sets and update content when product expires or changes occur.
• Update set inventory lists to reflect changes in lot codes.
• Understand and articulate loaner ERP system steps and transactions.
• Transfer sets from work-in-progress storage to available stock for shipment.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Marketing to ensure proper configuration is maintained.

This role will ideally suit those with loan kit/set experience within the medical device industry or those who come from a hospital CSSD background.

We are also open to those who have functioned in a professional warehouse environment where attention to detail and a collaborative work style is front of mind.

About the Role

• Review and maintain surgical loaner instrument and implant sets
• Track loaner sets and update the content when product expires, or engineering changes occur
• Update the set inventory lists to reflect changes in lot codes
• Fully understand and articulate loaner ERP system steps and transactions
• Accurately transfer sets from work-in-progress storage location to available stock for shipment
• Work with Commercial and Marketing to ensure a proper configuration is maintained

About the Requirements

Experience with SAP and the use of RF Scanners would be very beneficial however, training can be provided.

Having had experience in working as a Loan Kit Technician for another medical devices company would be ideal and highly considered however, quality training can also be provided for anyone new to this career.

Minimum requirements include:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and under pressure,
• Strong attention to detail when documenting required information/issues.
• Excellent analytical abilities, with good written and oral communication skills,
• Ability to work well within a group environment,
• Intermediate level Microsoft Excel and proficient in Word and Outlook.
• Good physical and mental health. Must be able to lift and/or move 5 - 15 kilos.
