Job summary

PGG Wrightson is seeking an experienced Livestock Representative to join our Amberley or Hawarden team in North Canterbury. You will promote and sell livestock services, build long-term relationships with sheep, beef, and dairy farming clients, and manage your own workload with regular regional travel.

• Auctioneering experience is advantageous.

• A full, current, clean New Zealand driver’s licence is required.

We are seeking an experiencedLivestock Representative to join our Amberley or Hawarden PGG Wrightson team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and results focused professional to become part of a knowledgeable and dedicated team servicing the North Canterbury region.

Working with sheep, beef, and dairy farming clients throughout North Canterbury, you will manage and develop existing customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities within your territory. Supported by a highly experienced local team and a respected industry brand, you'll enjoy the autonomy to manage your region while building strong, trusted partnerships within the farming community.

You’ll have a genuine passion for agriculture, excellent relationship building skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues. As this role operates with a high level of independence, you’ll also possess strong planning, organisation, administration, and time management skills, along with a proactive approach to your work.
