Job summary

Neptune Pacific is seeking a commercially astute Trade Manager to lead pricing, trade and vessel deployment strategies across the South Pacific. You will drive profitability, market growth and service excellence while reporting to the General Manager, Liner Division.

The role requires strong strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership and a track record of delivering commercial outcomes in liner shipping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline or equivalent senior-level experience.
• 10+ years in shipping, senior trade management and leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of shipping and logistics across the South Pacific.
• Proven experience in pricing strategy, negotiations, trade optimisation, budgeting and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing, trade and vessel deployment strategies to maximise revenue.
• Oversee pricing structures, tariffs, surcharges, contracts and tenders.
• Develop trade budgets, forecasts and KPIs and report performance to leadership.
