The role involves building a strong pipeline, managing accounts in the high-end recreational market and traveling regionally, with occasional international travel after training.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B technical sales or account-management experience.
• Ability to originate opportunities and open accounts.
• Capability to translate technical products into value propositions.
• Disciplined CRM use, forecasting and follow-up.
• Strong presentation and relationship-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new relationships with vessel operators, boatbuilders, shipyards, fleet owners and partners.
• Maintain and grow established accounts in the premium marine market.
• Qualify customer requirements and coordinate technical input for proposals.
• Maintain a disciplined pipeline, activity plan and forecast.
• Represent Manaaki Marine at national boat shows and events.
• Complete planned North and South Island sales trips and occasional international travel.
• Coordinate handovers to operations, parts and technical teams and support delivery.
