Job summary

Marlborough Girls’ College invites an experienced educator to lead its learning support team. This permanent, full-time role involves coordinating support for students with additional learning needs, overseeing teacher aide deployment, and managing SAC applications and assessment provisions.

The successful candidate will be a strong classroom practitioner with leadership and communication skills, enjoy building partnerships with whānau and external agencies, and contribute to literacy, numeracy

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will be an effective classroom practitioner with strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in learning support, literacy and/or numeracy development, and a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• lead and develop the learning support team
• coordinate support for students with additional learning needs

• manage SAC applications and assessment provisions
