Job summary

Tokoroa North School is seeking a learning support coordinator to work with the leadership team, teachers, whānau and external agencies to identify students with additional learning needs early and provide coordinated, effective support.

You will foster inclusive practice across the school, align with Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and build culturally sustainable approaches so every learner can thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with additional learning needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration with teams and families.
• Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally sustainable practice.

The learning support coordinator plays a key role in ensuring children with additional learning needs are identified early and receive coordinated, effective support. Our LSC will demonstrate strong communication, organisation and collaboration skills. They will share our commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally sustainable practice.

Working alongside the leadership team, teachers, whānau, specialists and external agencies, the successful applicant will be experienced to strengthen inclusive practice across the school and help ensure every learner can thrive.
