Job summary

Ministry for Primary Industries is seeking a Learning Programme Coordinator in Wellington City. This fixed-term, part-time role (20 hours per week) supports the Learning & Development team by coordinating courses, producing virtual sessions, and handling learner communications. Occasional residential events may involve overnight stays, with accommodation provided.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating learning programmes or events (≤140 chars)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organised (≤140 chars)
• Strong communication skills and relationship-building (≤140 chars)
• Proficiency with learning systems and virtual tools (≤140 chars)
• Current full New Zealand driver licence (required) (≤140 chars)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate learning programmes and course logistics.
• Support virtual learning sessions as a producer.
• Manage learner communications and enquiries.
• Assist delivery of learning programmes.
• Work closely with facilitators and the L&D team.
• Create engaging learning experiences across MPI.
• Occasionally support residential programmes with potential overnight stays.
