Job summary

Ministry for Primary Industries is seeking a Learning Programme Coordinator in Wellington City. This fixed-term, part-time role (20 hours per week) supports the Learning & Development team by coordinating courses, producing virtual sessions, and handling learner communications. Occasional residential events may involve overnight stays, with accommodation provided.

# Learning Programme Coordinator at Ministry for Primary Industries, Wellington City## Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role**Job title:** Learning Programme Coordinator**Role type:** Fixed term to June 2027, Part-time (20 hours per week)**Location:** Wellington City**Salary band & range:** F $77,992 - $90,999 pro rata depending on skills and experience**About the Role - Kōrero mō te Tūranga**We're looking for a Learning Programme Coordinator to join MPI's Learning & Development team. This is a varied and people-focused role where you'll help deliver learning programmes that support capability development across the organisation. You'll be a key point of contact for learners, support virtual and in-person learning experiences, and help ensure training runs smoothly from start to finish. This role is part-time, working 20 hours per week, and includes Friday as a required working day.Whether you're coordinating logistics, supporting learning programmes, or helping facilitators deliver engaging virtual sessions, you'll play an important role in creating positive learning experiences for people across MPI.
