Leadership & Capability Coordinator
There's a good chance you've heard of Te Waihanga. We're a small, independent Crown entity with a big job: shaping New Zealand's infrastructure system to work better for all of us, now and for future generations. From the roads and railways that connect us to the pipes and powerlines that keep the lights on, we're here to help New Zealand's infrastructure deliver more value.
Our Leadership & Capability team, part of our Investment team, works to strengthen infrastructure leadership across New Zealand's public sector. We help senior leaders build the knowledge, skills and mindsets they need to lead complex projects with confidence, through tailored programmes, masterclasses, peer networks and development experiences. We're now looking for a Leadership & Capability Coordinator to help bring this work to life.
As our Leadership & Capability Coordinator, you'll be at the centre of delivering our learning events, peer network sessions and development activities. You'll manage events from start to finish, from logistics, scheduling and vendor engagement through to participant communications and on-the-day support, for both in-person and virtual events. Working closely with the team and subject matter experts from across the sector, you'll make sure every event runs smoothly and delivers a great experience.
In this role, you will:
Te Waihanga is what's called an Autonomous Crown Entity. We think about the whole infrastructure system, including roads, water pipes and powerlines. Our job is to provide advice, uncover insights and promote change that improves the performance of New Zealand's infrastructure system for generations to come.
Our people are smart, experienced and passionate about what they do. They're also friendly and because we're a relatively small organisation, it's easy to work with people across Te Waihanga and make an impact. We don't stand on hierarchy or ceremony.
We value our people, and it's important to us that you feel welcome, supported and respected.
This is a permanent, full-time role based in Wellington, with flexible working arrangements to be agreed with the successful candidate.
We offer a competitive total remuneration package based on skills and experience. We are looking to appoint within a total remuneration range of $67,311 to $88,346, inclusive of 3.5% employer KiwiSaver contributions.
Te Waihanga is committed to developing a diverse workforce and an inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities and welcome applications from everyone who can meet the requirements of the role. We also offer flexible working arrangements.
To be considered for this position, you must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
Please note that we may begin shortlisting applications before the closing date.
