Job summary

Invercargill City Council invites applications for a Manager – Property, Facilities & Fleet to unite property, facilities and fleet into a single, commercially astute function that supports Council services and the community.

You will lead a team spanning facilities management, property and fleet operations, focusing on safety, compliance, lifecycle planning and value delivery while fostering a service-oriented culture across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Substantial facilities management experience with exposure to property, asset management and maintenance programmes.
• Experience leading a multi-disciplinary function and managing a diverse asset portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cohesive, high-performing function across property, facilities and fleet assets.
• Oversee facilities management, property asset management and fleet operations.
• Provide trusted strategic advice to senior leadership on priorities, risk and investment.
