Keith Andrews Trucks in Whangarei seeks a Workshop Foreman to lead a skilled technicians and apprentice team. You will supervise workloads, train staff, perform quality checks, and support the Service Manager to maintain profitability and high standards of safety.

You will stay current with service standards, diagnose and repair using manuals, and promote a safe and compliant workshop environment while communicating clearly with staff and customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as automotive technician with proven leadership ability.
• Proven ability to mentor and coach a workshop team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of technicians and apprentices.
• Train, mentor, and challenge the team to improve skills.
• Conduct quality checks to exceed customer expectations.
• Support the Service Manager with workshop profitability and cost approvals.
• Ensure equipment and materials are well-maintained and stations are organized.
