Keith Andrews Trucks is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician for our Palmerston North workshop. You will diagnose faults, service and repair a range of heavy diesel vehicles, keeping customers’ trucks safe and on the road. You’ll work with industry-leading brands, in a well-equipped facility, with a focus on quality workmanship.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair faults across diesel engines and vehicle systems.
• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Complete job documentation and maintain accurate service records.
• Communicate with Service Advisors and customers regarding repairs.

About the Role

As a Diesel Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping our customers' trucks and commercial vehicles running safely and efficiently. Working in our well-equipped Palmerston North workshop, you'll diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and complete servicing across a range of heavy diesel vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults across diesel engines and vehicle systems

• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems

• Complete job documentation and maintain accurate service records

• Communicate with Service Advisors and customers regarding repairs

• Maintain a safe, clean and efficient workshop environment

What We're Looking For

• Qualified experienced Automotive Technician

• Minimum 3 years' experience working with diesel engines or heavy vehicles

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Commitment to safety and workshop best practices
