Job summary

Keith Andrews Trucks is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician for our Palmerston North workshop. You will diagnose faults, service and repair a range of heavy diesel vehicles, keeping customers’ trucks safe and on the road. You’ll work with industry-leading brands, in a well-equipped facility, with a focus on quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Proven diagnostic ability with diesel engines and heavy vehicles.
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex faults.
• Good communication and teamwork to support workshop operations.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults across diesel engines and vehicle systems.
• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Complete job documentation and maintain accurate service records.
• Communicate with Service Advisors and customers regarding repairs.
